Last night I voted against the Conseratives proposed changes to fund social care.
After years of inaction on the issue of adult social care and many half baked policy proposals I am not surprised that the latest attempt is so poor but I am disappointed.
The proposed changes voted on last night and passed by the majority of Conservatives, will hit the least well off pensioners the hardest whilst protecting millionaires. Working families will still need to sell their homes for care.
It’s simply not fair.
