Yesterday I was lucky enough to draw the first question at PMQs. This was the last PMQs before the December 12th election and I had a question about to ask the Prime Minister on energy and the climate emergency.
One pledge in Labour’s ambitious plan to tackle the climate emergency is to ban fossil fuel extraction by fracking and I wanted to know whether the Prime Minister would make the same committment. Given that a lobbyist for the fracking industry is helping to write the Tory manifesto I was doubtful and as usual the Prime Minister didn’t really answer my question.
