- Tuesday – Standards and Privileges Select Committee and Energy and Climate Change Select Committee meetings. South East Trade Union Network meeting. An Associate Parliamentary Sustainable Resource Group seminar regarding the illegal export of waste. South East Reserve Forces' and Cadets' Association briefing.
- Wednesday – Meeting teachers from Shirley Junior School as part of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme lobby. PMQs. Energy and Climate Change Select Committee visit as part of the EU Emissions Trading System inquiry.
- Thursday – Energy and Climate Change Select Committee visit as part of the EU Emissions Trading System inquiry.
- Friday – Meeting with the Southampton Pensioners' Forum regarding the National Pensioners’ Convention campaign week ‘Rights in Retirement’. Speaking at the Solar Power UK 2011 Conference.
- Saturday – Sixth constituency surgery of the month. Southampton Labour Party meeting. Saints v Middlesbrough at home.
