Associate Parliamentary Sustainable Resource Group briefing regarding the Waste Review. Scottish Power Renewables roundtable discussion.
- Wednesday – Associate Parliamentary Sustainable Resource Group AGM. Meeting with Unite reps regarding Northern Rock. PMQs. All Party Parliamentary Environment Group event regarding the Government's policies for environmental taxation. Environmental Audit Select Committee meeting. Chairing an Associate Parliamentary Sustainable Resource Group meeting regarding the inquiry into financing new waste infrastructure. Renewable UK event.
- Thursday - Associate Parliamentary Renewable and Sustainable Energy Group annual conference entitled ‘Delivering Low Carbon Energy: Electricity Market Reform and Beyond’.
- Friday – Interview with postgraduate student from the University of Southampton regarding the Dibden Container Terminal.
- Saturday – Third constituency surgery of the month. Meeting Solent Area Army Cadet Force members.
