Voting throughout the day & evening. DEFRA ‘World Without Waste’ event, Justice Select Committee meeting, Anita Pollack’s ‘History of Labour MEPs 1979 – 99’ book launch. Energy Saving Trust’s launch of Energy Saving Week.
Wednesday
Voting throughout the day & evening. Energy and Climate Change Select Committee meeting, USDAW’s ‘Respect for Shopworkers’ event. Save the Children’s launch of film made by children regarding child poverty in the UK. Meeting regarding carbon capture and storage.
Thursday
Aldersgate Group’s launch of ‘Financing the UK Low Carbon Transition Plan.’
Friday
Meeting regarding drive to encourage people to rent Christmas trees, which can be replanted and rented again in the future. Interview with student journalist regarding Southampton and Liverpool’s cruise industries. Third constituency surgery of the month.
Saturday
Fourth constituency surgery of the month.
Sunday
Meeting residents in Millbrook & Freemantle.
