Warm Homes event at Newtown Health Clinic, Bevois, informing residents of ways to save energy and money.  Home visit to constituents in Shirley.  European Standing Committee on ‘stepping up international climate finance: a European blueprint for the Copenhagen deal’.  Socialist Environment and Resources Association meeting.  Fabian Society event.

Tuesday

Standards and Privileges Select Committee meeting and Justice Select Committee meeting.  Meeting with WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) Chief Executive.  All Party Parliamentary Group on Infrastructure meeting regarding the new planning system for major infrastructure projects.  Launch of Socialist Environment and Resources Association Copenhagen pamphlet.  Speaking at Town and Country Planning Association event.

Wednesday

Energy and Climate Change Select Committee meeting.  PMQs.  Disabled Living Foundation 40th anniversary celebrations.  Launch of Rethink report on increasing political awareness and participation of people affected by mental illness.  Launch of University and College Union ‘Make Education Count’ report.  The Associate Parliamentary Renewable and Sustainable Energy Group annual awards ceremony.

Thursday

Visit to Remploy factory on West Quay Road, Southampton as part of International Day of Disabled People.  Meeting with the Director General of the Southampton and Fareham Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  Meeting with the Secretary General of the European Forum for Renewable Energy Sources.  Associate Parliamentary Renewable and Sustainable Energy Group seminar on the Renewable Heat Incentive.  Met Office event regarding Copenhagen and climate science.

Friday

Williams Shipping meeting in Southampton.  Talking to residents of Chapter 1, Kingsley House (housing scheme for young people) about facilities for young people.  Sixth constituency surgery of the month.

Saturday

Seventh constituency surgery of the month.

Sunday

Meeting residents in Redbridge.
