Some meetings from Alan's diary this week...

22nd- 29th June 2009

On Monday, Alan will catch a train up to London in time for an interview with a masters student and a meeting regarding the Strategic Waste Forum.  Alan has been appointed the interim chair of ECCC (the Energy and Climate Change Select Committee) and has a meeting regarding the work of this committee in the evening followed by an All Party Parliamentary Local Government Group event.  At the end of the evening, he will vote on the Child Poverty Bill   

On Tuesday, Alan will meet a representative from the microgeneration industry to discuss ECCC members supporting a future trade delegation.  In the afternoon, the Justice Select Committee sits for the last time this parliamentary session. In the evening, there will be a 3-line running whip on Tuesday evening to ensure all necessary business is voted on before Parliament rises.

On Wednesday, Alan will attend a Southampton Environment Centre Board meeting.

On Thursday, Alan will make a home visit to a constituent and then meet with the Chair of the Highfield Residents’ Association.

On Friday, Alan will visit the Southampton Multicultural Centre to discuss NASS accommodation support before a Business Southampton meeting regarding the Maritime Integration Project.

On Saturday, Alan will hold a roving surgery in Coxford.
