Like many industries, those who work for universities, as academics, working in the libraries or other support roles, have seen increasing casualisation of work. More short term contracts, worse pensions and they are expected to do more work for less pay.

The University of Southampton is a big employer in Southampton Test and we need them to be offering decent pay and secure contracts for the wellbeing of the people in our city.
