Over the last week my team and I have spoken to hundreds of families in Southampton who have relatives in Afghanistan.
Many of the relatives have worked for international agencies such as the UN and NATO as well as the Afghan Government.
Some of them are women who are teachers and activists and all of them, I worry are at high risk of violence from the Taliban.
Last week we were doing all we could to try and get them out of the country as part of the evacuation. This week the government have not made it clear how they are going to help those that remain, however we are still contacting the Foreign Office to seek assistance for those still in Afghanistan.
The Government need to release the details of their Resettlement Scheme as soon as possible as so many people are now in limbo.
