I am running a short survey on what Lordshill residents think about the Council’s plans to combine Oaklands and Millbrook schools on a new site at Five Acre Field, and also on what other community facilities you would like to see in your area.
I would be very grateful if you could take a few minutes to answer the questions below.
Now that Oaklands and Millbrook schools have been combined to form the Lord’s Hill Academy, do you agree in principle with moving the former Oaklands & Millbrook schools to a new school site on 5 Acre Field?
Yes No
If the former Oaklands school does move to a new site, what use do you think the site of former school site should be put to?
Housing Industry Open space Something else:
The current Oaklands school site also incorporates facilities used by the wider community- a swimming pool, a theatre, a sports hall and meeting rooms.
Whatever else the site as a whole is used for, do you think these non-school facilities should be retained for community use?
Which facilities would you want to keep? (tick as many as you want):
Oaklands Pool Theatre The sports hall Community meeting rooms
What other community facilities do you think Lordshill needs?
More affordable housing Childcare facilities Community meeting rooms An expanded library A Sure Start Centre Youth services
How would you rate bus links to each of the areas below, on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being best?
