Alan Whitehead opens new Southampton student accommodation

Alan Whitehead MP today officially opened Southampton’s latest student accommodation. Mercury Point, which is located on Duke Street in central Southampton will be home to 562 students and offers a wide choice of accommodation, including en-suite facilities.

Mercury Point will be in easy reach for the University Of Southampton, Southampton Institute and the city centre and boasts some excellent panoramic views over the Solent and Ocean Village.

Alan Whitehead MP, for Southampton Test, said,
"I am delighted to be opening this new student accommodation. Mercury Point will provide safe and comfortable accommodation which will further enhance Southampton's ability to attract the best students from the UK and abroad".
