AGE CENTRE |
| Alan Whitehead MP and John
Denham MP will officially open Southampton’s Third Age Centre at

of the city’s caring groups who work with the elderly as well as
offering various health and artistic activities. The project has been
funded with money from the city council, regeneration funds and the National
Lottery. |

I am particularly pleased it has brought back to life such a wonderful building at the heart of our community.” John Denham MP, for Southampton Itchen, said: “It’s excellent to see all these organisations such as Age Concern, the City Council, Southampton City College, the Alzheimers Society and others working together to provide this new centre for older people.” TIME : 1.30pm VENUE: The Third Age Centre, ENDS
