VISA ROADSHOW IN SOUTHAMPTON

Alan Whitehead MP is hosting a VISA ROADSHOW in Southampton for constituents and organisations with an interest in visa issues. The roadshow will give people an opportunity to speak to UK Visa officials from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office face to face. It will be taking place on Thursday January 15th at 7.30pm in the Council Chamber at the Civic Centre, Southampton.

Alan Whitehead MP, for Southampton Test, says:

“This is an important event and unique opportunity to gain valuable information and advice on the visa process. I have asked officials to include in their talk some useful information for people making visa applications as I know from my casework that it is an area where people run into problems. Events such as this will help to achieve a better understanding and improve the system for the benefit of all.”

The UK Visa roadshow will be at 7.30pm, Thursday 15th January, Council Chamber, Civic Centre, Southampton. It is open to all with an interest in visa related matters.

It will include useful information for people making visa applications and will be focused on visa matters overseas rather than asylum or in-country issues for which the Home Office has responsibility.
