MP takes part in Haemoglobin test to help raise awareness about issues relating to cancer and anaemia

Southampton MP Alan Whitehead will be visiting the Tenovus Research Centre in Southampton on Wednesday 23 July at 11.30am to have his haemoglobin levels tested as part of a national campaign to raise awareness about issues relating to anaemia and fatigue among cancer patients.

lan Whitehead, MP for Southampton Test, says,
"The Your Numbers Count campaign is an important step forward in encouraging cancer patients to become more aware of their haemoglobin levels and knock on effects that this can have on their quality of life and treatment. An information leaflet has been produced and is available from oncology centres and will be sent to cancer patients throughout the country."
