Annual Report published to keep constituents in touch with MPs work

Local MP Alan Whitehead has published his fifth Annual Report, covering 2002, to keep constituents informed about his work locally and in parliament on their behalf.

Alan Whitehead, MP for Southampton Test, says,
"Letting local people know what I have been doing, both in Southampton and Parliament, on their behalf is a major priority for me, and this Annual Report will hopefully provide a flavour of my work in 2002."

Copies of the Annual Report are available by calling the Southampton Constituency Office on 8023 1942 or by sending an e-mail to annualreport@alan-whitehead.org.uk.

Alan Whitehead continues,
"In parliament and beyond I have taken a keen interest in local government, energy needs, the issue of waste management, recycling and refuse, and the demand for housing in the South East. Also, I have increased the number of advice surgeries that I hold in Southampton to give constituents more opportunities to meet with me on a one to one basis: appointments can be made by contacting my constituency office on 8023 1942. "
