Alan Whitehead MP has published his latest Parliamentary report, which is currently being delivered across to all constituents living in Southampton Test.
You can download the newsletter here (note- this is a large pdf file and may take a long time to download if you have a dial-up internet connection).
This newsletter covers:
- The Save the Quays campaign
- Information on funding for new green council homes
- Alan's work on the future of the Royal Mail
- Alan's work on the government's review on private rented housing and HMOs
- A focus on education policy- particularly on apprenticeships and further education
- Alan's work on Vestas
- The campaign against moving the Town Depot to Test Lane
- The opening of the new Lordshill Community Centre
- A progress report on the campaign to save the former Civil Service Sports Ground
- A brief note on the campaign to save the city's art collection.
All of Alan's reports are printed on paper from Sustainable Forests. This means that for every one tree cut down two are planted. The pulp is cleaned using an elemental, chlorine-free process and all waste paper is collected and recycled.
