Alan @ Labour Conference

Alan is attending/speaking at 40 meetings at the Labour Party Conference on topics ranging from local government to electoral reform to climate change to football! 

On Sunday morning, Alan is in goal for the UK Parliament Football Club in their match against the Press Lobby and in the evening, he is meeting with the British Wind Energy Association. 

On Monday, Alan is speaking alongside Malcolm Wicks, Minister of State for Energy, and Phil Woolas, Minister of State for the Environment, at two Fabian Society seminars on renewable energy and climate change and at a Local Government Information Unit seminar on efficiency in local government. 

On Tuesday morning, Alan is visiting the new eco Marks & Spencers store in Bournemouth and in the afternoon, is chairing a Parliamentary Renewable & Sustainable Energy Group seminar on making the UK a global hub for a low carbon economy.   

On Wednesday, Alan is speaking about the renewable heat mechanism at a Renewable Energy Association and Combined Heat & Power Association seminar and about what voters want from their representatives at an Electoral Reform Society debate.  Alan is also meeting members of the local government manifesto group, of which he is Chair, on Monday and Wednesday.
