associated neighbourhoods:
Bevois Ward- Northam, Newtown Nicholstown; Inner Avenue, Bevois Valley, part of St. Marys
Coxford Ward- eastern Lordshill, Coxford, Aldermoor, the General Hospital
Freemantle Ward- eastern Freemantle, Banister Park, Foyes Corner, part of Shirley closest to town
Millbrook Ward- western Freemantle, eastern Millbrook, part of Shirley south of Shirley High Street
Portswood Ward- Portswood, Highfield, the University,
St. Denys
Redbridge Ward- western Millbrook; Redbridge, Old Redbridge, Maybush, western Lordshill
Shirley Ward- part of Shirley north of Shirley High Street
The constituency is bounded to the east by Southampton Itchen (Labour), to the north by Romsey & Southampton North (Conservative) and in to the west by New Forest East (Conservative).
